Hanuman, a great devotee of Sri Rama, is the symbol of devotion and dedication. Lord Hanuman, is considered to be an avatar (incarnation) of Lord Shiva. He is worshipped for his strength, valor, agility and is a man of great learning.

Lord Hanuman is the God of strength; he is the protector, gives protection from evils, diseases, enemies, and bad health. Sri Hanuman is worshipped in all the temples of India and every temple of Sri Rama contains an icon of Hanuman. Thus, following many ways of worshipping Lord Hanuman, chanting Hanuman Beej Mantra is one of the most effective and powerful methods to please him.

There are many different Mantras and among them, there are many different Hanuman Mantras. Also, one among which is one of the most powerful and effective mantras of Lord Hanuman, Hanuman Beej Mantra. (Also Read – Lessons from Hanuman Chalisa)

Hanuman Beej Mantra

In Sanskrit:

|| ॐ ऐं भ्रीम हनुमते,

श्री राम दूताय नम: ||

In English:

Aum Aeem Bhreem Hanumate

Shree Ram Dootaaya Namaha

Meaning of Mantras

Mantras are Sanskrit-invocations of the Supreme Being. They are reinforced and propelled by Japa meditation. After passing through vocals they adjoin the mental and telepathic states and bring forth pure energy in thoughts. There are many Mantras and their types among which are also Beej Mantras.

Meaning of Beej Mantras

Beej Mantras are Seed Mantra. Each deity has a specific Beej Mantra. A mantra is full of shakti and there are various beej mantras each with it own power. When mixed with other mantras, they provide extra power to that mantra. Basic Beej-Mantra “Om” is further expanded into the following types of beej – yog beej ,tejo beej, shanti beej and raksha beej, which are respectively known as aeng (aim)hreem, sreem, kreem, kleem, dum, gam, glaum, lam, yam, aam or um or ram.

Seed or Beej Mantras are not just monosyllabic chants that create a rhythmic effect of an aura around you. But they also solve myriad problems in your life, if you can concentrate, have faith upon the Mantras and consider them to be part of your life. Their meaning is subtle and mystical. The form of the Beej Mantra is the form of the Devata signified by it.

According to Hindu texts, chanting of Hanuman Beej Mantra regularly is the most powerful way to please Hanuman and get his blessing.

Benefits of Chanting Hanuman Beej Mantra

The mantra states that we plead to the Lord Hanuman, who is the greatest server and messenger of the Lord Sri Rama. Thus, one who chants Hanuman Mantra will get self-confidence, courage and protection shield. It is also a “Karya Siddhi” mantra for success, peace, and prosperity. Lord Hanuman Beej Mantra aligns you with the higher frequencies of Lord Hanuman. This Beej mantra provides protection and removes all of our enemies.

Regular chanting of Hanuman Mantra increases a person’s resilience and he emerges victorious in every challenging situation. Hanuman mantra helps to overcome the difficulties or problems one might encounter in getting a wish fulfilled. Repeated Japa of Hanuman Mantra is believed to dispel ghosts and spirits and ward off maladies such as fever and epilepsy. Any Hanuman Mantra is also used for attaining physical strength, stamina, and power.

Lord Hanuman blesses one with the qualities of courage and confidence, thwarts the efforts of one’s enemies and ensures success, strengthens the immune system and blesses one with a long life by chanting the Hanuman Mantras daily. One becomes active and energetic and doesn’t experience laziness in doing any work. Thus, one becomes successful and also attains peace and prosperity chanting Hanuman Beej Mantra.
